David Callow

David has worked exclusively in retail throughout his career. Starting out in Store Management roles at Argos, he quickly progressed into IT roles focusing on store systems and processes. He joined The Burton Group and worked in a variety of technical roles until becoming Business Systems Controller at Debenhams in 1998. He has held senior IT roles at Debenhams including operating at CIO level. David has extensive experience in multi-channel, ecommerce and stores systems as well as back of house implementations in Data Warehousing, HR and Finance. An accomplished and adaptable IT professional with proven skills in stakeholder and supplier management, David has a passion for solving business problems and delivering effective solutions. David has managed IT teams through periods of rapid and sustained growth, whilst delivering high availability IT services and solutions.
