Maya Moufarek

Maya Moufarek is a multi-cultural and multi-lingual marketing and business development professional with 10 years experience across EMEA, APAC and the USA. She has a track record driving strong ROI cross-functional projects in highly innovative environments and is also known for her capacity to combine both analytical and creative approaches.

Most recently she joined Chemist Direct where she leads marketing & customer experience efforts. Before that at American Express she lead the international product expansion of the Digital Offers coming from notonthehighstreet.com an award winning online marketplace for small creative businesses where she led the international expansion strategy and acted as CMO.

Prior to that Maya Moufarek spent almost six years at Google where she was a founding member of the EMEA Emerging Markets team ensuring users in such countries as Israel, Russia, Turkey, Poland and Egypt had high visibility within the organisation and embraced Google products. She also worked in Russia as a founding member of the Moscow-based marketing team and in San Francisco where she led the international launch of the acclaimed Google Chrome browser.

She played key roles in initiatives that received the Google Founders and Executive Group Awards.

Outside of work she is an avid landscape & night photographer as well as a world explorer.
